Stirling Albion Foundation and Junior Academy Unite to Strengthen Community Impact Through Football

Stirling, Scotland – June 1, 2025 – Stirling Albion Foundation and Stirling Albion Junior Academy are proud to announce a new partnership agreement that formally unites the two organisations under a shared mission: to inspire, transform, and strengthen lives through the power of football and sport.

Established in 2021, Stirling Albion Foundation is a registered charity dedicated to supporting the most disadvantaged and vulnerable members of the community through sport-based initiatives. Stirling Albion Junior Academy, a volunteer-run youth football club founded in 2011, shares these values by providing inclusive, structured football opportunities for children from the age of 4.

This new Partnership Agreement marks the Academy’s transition into becoming an integral part of the Foundation, while maintaining its independent constitution and compliance with governing football bodies including the SFA, SYFA, and SWF.

“By combining our efforts, we can expand our reach and deepen our impact,” said Jim McAllister, Chairperson of the Foundation. “This partnership allows us to provide a more cohesive and resourceful environment for young players and their families.”

Under the agreement:

·        The Academy will continue to provide high-quality coaching and participation in local and national leagues.

·        The Foundation and Academy will jointly manage assets, finances, and strategic decisions, with clear guidelines on shared responsibilities and voting rights.

       ·        The Academy will be represented on the Foundation's           Board of Trustees, ensuring collaboration at the highest         level.

“This is a milestone moment for community football in Stirling,” added Steven Brotherton, Chairperson, of the Academy. “We are thrilled to align with a charity whose vision so closely matches our own. Together, we can ensure every child has a chance to play, grow, and thrive.”

The agreement officially came into effect on June 1, 2025.
